Introducing JVoIP Virtual Receptionist

We’re excited to roll out JVoIP Virtual Receptionist feature now available for Startup plans or greater.

What is a virtual receptionist?

Many small businesses may be too busy for live receptionists to handle and route their calls. This is why it is preferable to have virtual receptionists, or an auto-attendant, to answer and route calls accordingly.

You can use a virtual receptionist feature in many ways. For example, you may have a few departments where each department handles specific callers. In this case, your virtual receptionist answers the call on behalf of you, welcomes the callers and offers to route them to Sales, Accounting or Support by pressing a number.

What if many of your calls are about the same thing? In this case, your message can answer FAQs that callers have and care for your customer’s needs quickly. Or, you may wish to announce store hours or specials. You get the point.

The best thing is your virtual receptionist is working for you around-the-clock! By always being “on”, your calls will be handled with a professional appearance and consistent manner.

Business Hours

Our virtual receptionist feature also comes with a business hours option. You will set business hours that you wish your virtual attendant to operate. Then, after hours, you will have the option to publish a closed message.

That’s it! We’ve developed a simple and reliable virtual receptionist. We hope you enjoy this feature.
